This is the tattoo I've been flirting with getting for the better part of a year now. When/if I get it, it will be on my back over my heart.

The idea is that it's reminiscent of a bullet exit wound if you shot out a page of a book (emphasis on "reminiscent," it's not supposed to be a literal wound). The words are from the General Prologue to Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales."

My reasoning is as follows:

A) I have always loved books and literature. I doubt that will change when I'm eighty.

B) I can recite the selected text from heart with correct Middle English pronunciation thanks to a wonderful English teacher back in high school.

C) Middle English looks AWESOME.
